Pete Menet is the co-founder and CEO of Menet Aero, Inc., one of the first companies in the nation to be approved by the FAA to perform commercial Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) services. Peter is a military aviator with over 1,700 hours in the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter and is also a qualified RQ-11 Raven UAS operator. Menet is a veteran of two overseas deployments and has conducted manned and unmanned aviation operations all over the globe. He worked for Air Wisconsin Airlines, a regional airline operator for US Airways, American Airlines, and United Airlines; Oshkosh Corporation; and he was a partner in a web-development business.
Peter holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from UW-Oshkosh and a master's degree in project management from UW-Platteville. Menet Aero gained approval by the FAA legally provide commercial UAS services in July 2015 and has been steadily building a strong reputation among companies looking to work with legal, experienced UAS experts. In addition to providing UAS services, the Menet Aero team is also working with the Milwaukee Fire Department and Waukesha Police Department to establish professional UAS programs.
